Community and stakeholder engagement has been an important part of the masterplan development process to date and has consisted of:

• Local meetings in November 2005, February  2006,  April 2006, April and  December 2007 and April 2008.
  
  
• On-going dialogue with a group of residents (Maresfield Renaissance Group) that was formed in 2006.
  
  
• A newsletter with freepost comments card in April 2008
  
  
• A public workshop day with exhibition and presentations in April 2008
  
  
• A public exhibition was held 5th and 6th February 2010
