The team from David Wilson Homes, a group company of Barratt Developments plc, which is developing a masterplan for a sustainable village extension to Maresfield is inviting residents, businesses and local organisations to review and comment on the revised plans at a public exhibition in February.

When: Friday 5th February 2010, 6.30pm-9pm; and Saturday 6th February 2010, 10am-2pm.

Consultation on a revised masterplan will be undertaken in early 2010 and will be published well in advance of the event.

In July 2009, Wealden District Council consulted on the Core Strategy - Spatial Development Options. Our response to the consultation document can be found HERE

As a result of the wide range of constructive input received at the consultation workshops in April 2008, the design team has been reviewing the layout, scale, traffic and movement issues and the range of proposed uses. Additional surveys have been undertaken to investigate traffic calming issues raised by residents, and options for these are now being considered.

Consultation on a revised Masterplan will be undertaken in early 2009, and will be publicised well in advance in the Parish Newsletter and the Maresfield Masterplan website (http://maresfield.org).
